Effect of Solution Heat Treatment on the Porosity Growth of Nickel-Based P/M Superalloys

Thermal-induced porosity (TIP) is one of the major defects in powder metallurgy (P/M) superalloys, and it seriously affects performance P/M superalloys. The effects solution heat treatment on growth TIP nickel-based superalloy FGH97 were investigated.
